NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE PASSPORT APPLICANTS
In view of several reports of unwholesome acts, including extortion by some unscrupulous persons claiming to be visa and passport Agents for the Embassy of Nigeria in Ankara, it has become necessary to reiterate the following:-
- The Embassy of Nigeria in Ankara, Turkiye has no Passport Office or Agents In Istanbul or any other Location; except in Ankara. Therefore anybody that patronizes self-appointed Agents does so at his/her own risk as the Embassy would not be responsible for any amount charged by those so called Agents.
- Applicants should start their application process from six (6) months before expiration of their passports to enable them meet-up with their appointment dates for biometric data capturing.
- Passport fee for Renewal/Fresh issue is $106 for Adults and $77 for Minors which must be paid online after successful completion of the application form via portal.immigration.gov.ng
- Applicants should select appointment date by clicking on ‘https://appointments.immigration.gov.ng’ under interview date at the end of receipt page after successful payment of the application fee.
- Applicants should print the application form, payment receipt, acknowledgment slip as well as NIS Appointment slip and proceed to the Embassy of Nigeria in Ankara for biometric data capturing, and
- Applicants must note that there is no capturing without prior appointment.
